Congratulations to German Team for overpowering victory in finals.This little post is for INDIA though.

I played hockey only once at the age of 10 and then moved to Football/Cricket/Athletics. I watched hockey when there is news flash in TV channel. I read and followed hockey headlines when its World cup or Azlan shah cup(Major tournament as I said when news flashes on screen).In short,I was never interested in hockey.Cricket and Athletics were my first love.But this time,I took more interest in worldcup and was disappointed by the performance.I tried to look into history of Indian hockey and found that there was time when we had routine win against England,New Zealand and Malaysia.We were tough for Germany and Holland.
I would like to collect some golden facts about Indian Hockey and would like to have readers comment on this miserable performance.
