PP : Pluto Protest

I was watching TV last night and it was amazing to see people protesting against Pluto-is-not-a-planet decision. As usual, media groups were around and taking interviews of main groups who gathered in Pluto decision protests. Check some views of different flocks gathered at Time square.

1) School Students

They have main concern, why the hell it took so long time to take decision?

One of the fifth grade student representatives on this issue spoke to New Delhi Times:

“Schools are just started with the books having Pluto as a planet. We will have to suffer a lot with chapter regarding planets. It will add loads of confusion. Our teachers are not that competent to handle new books efficiently. They will make us confused and will affect our final results. What if scientists come up with an idea that “Sun is not Sun” or “We are not living on earth anymore”? We won’t believe them when our mid terms are going on. They should understand our situation. Scientists should declare such decisions in summer vacations so that we get updated text books in time. This is not acceptable. We will protest against this decision and will try to people consider Pluto as a planet till next summer. I know it will be difficult time for our juniors as they will not get accurate notes from seniors for Planets chapter.”

2) Astrologers and scorpions

“This is inhuman decision of the year. It will affect all astrologers. We will publish in Astro journal that our science won’t accept this decision. We have very strong player to decide someone’s fate. Pluto is mysterious and perfect planet to predict the future. Now, we have to find another way to describe scorpions. People with scorpion sign won’t believe in out prediction. Due to this decision, Tuesday, blue, green and Scorpios will become baseless. We will not able to predict about prostrate, tumors, hormones, cancer cells, asthma, hay fever, polyps, finger and toe nails, skin ailments. Who will rule scorpions? We can’t rely on Mars, it has already more responsibilities. We will protest against this decision.”

3) Sci-Fi writers

“Scientists should understand value of sci-fi authors in present society. People respect our work and sometimes scientists inspired by us. They should consult us before announcing this big decision. Many of us are writing stories having Pluto in it.Some have thier recent books published with influence of pluto. This is not good time for us.”
